Mr. Yuk Kee Ng passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the age of 78 years. As a young man, Yuk Kee made his way to Brazil from Hong Kong to make a life for his family. From there, he immigrated to Calgary, Alberta in 1969, reuniting with his family. In 1971 he partnered in a restaurant business. After 22 successful years, he sold the business and lived happily in retirement. Yuk Kee will be lovingly remembered by his wife Yung Lee Ng; his three children, Jimmy, Tim (Carol) and Susan (Gary); his grandsons, Matthew and Michael Ng, and Nicholas and Oliver Lee. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Fung Lan Ng; his nephews and niece, Tony (Alice), Peggy (Jeff), Chris (Maryann), and Min (Shanti); and numerous cousins. Yuk Kee is predeceased by his brother, Yuk Sum Ng; his mother, Lan Heung Chan; and mother-in-law, Yuet Ching Cheung. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a Visitation held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
