WEISGERBER, Chad Joseph
February 8, 1974 - May 29, 2012
Chad Weisgerber, beloved husband of Tania and adored father of Annika and Claire, passed away on May 29, 2012 at the age of 38 years. Chad left this world after a courageous battle with neurosarcoidosis. Along with his three girls, Chad will be greatly missed by his parents, John and Cheryl Weisgerber, his brother Todd Weisgerber (Jamie) and sister Tanya Saban (Sam) as well as extended family and many friends. His love for learning led him to achieve a Bachelor of Science and Education at the University of Calgary. He started his career with the Calgary Catholic School District and shared his knowledge and passion as a teacher. He then worked alongside his father as an independent construction contractor gaining valuable insight into the industry. Following up on this experience, he earned his Professional Project Management certificate and worked as a project manager for EllisDon Construction. He shared a love of the outdoors, especially golfing and spending time in the mountains and at the family lake house. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 - 34 Street S.W.) on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com . If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Calgary Health Trust - Intensive Care, Suite 800, 11012 Macleod Trail S.E., Calgary, AB T2J 6A5 (Phone 403-943-0615, www.thetrust.ca ). In living memory of Chad Weisgerber, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
