Eileen CROSSLEY Obituary
July 9, 1928 - August 27, 2012
Eileen Marion Crossley of Calgary passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 at the age of 84 years. She was born in Edmonton and it was there that she met Art, her husband of sixty wonderful years. Along with being an exceptional, loving mother, Eileen worked at Woodwards for eighteen years. After retirement she enjoyed twenty years with Art as a snowbird in Tucson, AZ. She loved golf, entertaining friends and family and was always up for a dance. Eileen is survived by daughter Linda (Johnnie); sons, Don (Lisa) and Barry (Daphne); and grandchildren, Gerrit (Katrina), Daniel and Tess. Eileen was predeceased by her loving husband Art this past December. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W.) on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Special thanks to the amazing staff and volunteers at Rosedale Hospice. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Rosedale Hospice, 920 - 7A Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2M 3J3. In living memory of Eileen Crossley, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Our thoughts are with all the family at this very sad time. Eileen was a wonderful lady and I feel very honoured to have known her over the past few years - she always had a smile and a story to tell. May she rest in peace.
