ANDERSON, Arlouine Mildred

Arlouine Anderson (nee Phelps) passed away in Calgary on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the age of 88 years. She was born on February 25, 1924 in Mildred, SK and moved to Calgary in 1948 with her husband George to start their new life. George and Arlouine were married on December 4, 1949 and they had settled in a home in Elbow Park where they raised three children. She was an active member of St. Paul's United Church for many years. Her fondest memory was travelling all over the United States and Canada with family and friends. Her biggest passion was how much she loved and valued her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Darleen Dorothy Padgett, Delores Jane Gray and James Edward Anderson, two grandchildren, Patricia and Tracey; great-grandchildren Mason, Ryder and Gage. She is also survived by Heather McClure-Anderson, Cleo Sieben, Aaron McClure and Tanya Marie Bunnah, Lacey McClure and Josh Stafford. Arlouine was predeceased by her husband George Anderson, brother Beverly George Phelps and parents Jim and Jane Phelps.Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Union Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Arlouine Anderson, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
