Jack, as he liked to be called, passed away at St. Martha's Place Continuing Care in Banff, Alberta on Monday, November 5, 2012. Jack was born on February 10, 1929 in Brampton, Ontario to John and Violet (McCombe) Irwin. He was an avid sailor, pilot and downhill skier. Jack is survived and will be greatly missed by his sons Robert and wife Caralyn, Peter and his wife Jackie, and David, and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Megan, Johanna, Rainah and Julian. We will miss your infectious smile, your wonderful sense of humor, your laugh, your love of ice cream and sweets, your amazing stories of sailing, flying, skiing, and travel adventures and most of all, your guiding words of wisdom. We Love You Dad.
