ISFAN, Margaret Joan
July 28, 1942 - December 2, 2012
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Joan (Peggy) Isfan of Cochrane, AB on Sunday, December 2, 2012. She will be remembered fondly by her husband George; daughter Karen and son-in- law Scott; son Warren and daughter-in-law Gillian; grandchildren, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Stella, and Evan; sisters Norma and Joyce; sister-in- law Ada, and numerous much-loved nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents Delmer and Doris Brown and her brother Gordon. Peggy was born in Sarnia, Ontario and raised in nearby Courtright. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario before heading west to pursue teaching. She was married to George in 1968 and lived in the Calgary area for over forty years. Peggy touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by her dear friends and family. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff and volunteers of the Foothills Medical Centre and elsewhere for their kindness and care. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at St. Thomas United Church (100 Hawkwood Boulevard N.W.) on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
