CARROLL, Phillip John
January 28, 1960 - December 14, 2012
Phil Carroll's celebration of life here on earth ended December 14, 2012, after a fearless five-year battle with Prostate Cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona where he peacefully journeyed to eternal glory with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Phil was unconditionally positive and, though he will be missed by all of us, his immortal spirit will transcend and inspire the lives he has touched along his passionate journey. Phil was a real estate entrepreneur and developed many projects in the USA and Canada. Phil had an amazingly positive and energetic outlook on life, which captured the essence of "Carpe Diem". He loved to travel the world with his loving family and friends and spent the summers at the lake enjoying water sports, cycling, and hiking and creating amazing memories. Above all, Phil was a giver whether it was coaching hockey, mentoring others to live out their dreams, or donating time to building homes in Mexico for Homes of Hope…He lived to give. He leaves behind his beautiful wife Jennifer, children Jessica and Austin, mother and father Dolores and Lorne and sister Lisa and loving in-laws, Peter and Joanne. The Moon will Rise...The Sun will Set…But we won't forget "Our Phil". Phil was predeceased by his sisters, Maureen and Dolorn and brother, Randi. A Funeral Mass will be held this Friday, December 21 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, 219 - 18 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB. A Celebration of Phil's life will follow at the Calgary Glencoe Club, 636 - 29 Ave SW. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Homes of Hope c/o YWAM at the following link: http:/ / donations/
