PERRA, Alfreda Emma (nee Roy)
August 26, 1917 - December 23, 2012
Alfreda Emma Perra of Calgary, Alberta, passed away December 23 at the age of 95. She was born in Spirit River, Alberta where she lived on the family farm until she married her beloved husband, Ernie Perra, in 1940. They lived in the Peace Country, Edmonton and then in Kelowna until Ernie passed away in 1987. She was predeceased by her son John, daughter Irene Morissette, two daughters-in-law, Alice Perra and Maggie Perra, and her brother and sisters: Albertine, Lucienne, Albert, and Lillian. She lives on in the hearts of her surviving children: Raymond, Annette LaGrange (Ray), Laurin (Kathleen), Roger (Monique), and Julienne Jessup (Barry) as well as her sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her sister Yvette Hope (Kerry) and numerous nieces and nephews. Alfreda was devoted to her faith and her family. She will be remembered fondly as a hard-working, generous and loving person. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gerard's Parish, 8944 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, Alberta at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012.
