Mary Margaret Comben May 27, 1941 - January 1, 2013 Mary Comben passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at home, at the age of 71. Mary will be dearly missed by her son, Herb (Jess) Comben, brother Andy (Barb) Papp, sisters Ella Schuster, Celina (Arnold) Braden, Anne (Howard) Pruner, Regina Papp and Christine (Trevor) Maine, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Adelaide Papp, father, Michael Papp, and sisters Wilma (John) Kozak and Helen (Bob) Andrews. Mary was born in Notikewin, Alberta and raised in Edgerton and Edmonton. After retiring from AGT, where she was the first female Electrical Technician in Southern Alberta, and Eecol Electric, with many years of outstanding service, Mary moved to Calgary where she could be closer to family. She was a devoted and fierce mother and a loving and caring sister. Mary loved reading, cooking and entertaining guests. She was kind and generous and will be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her. In keeping with Mary's wishes, no formal services will be held, but a celebration of her life will be held at the Delta South Hotel (Atrium side) in Calgary on February 9, 2013 from 1pm - 4pm, in the Kananaskis room.
