HEARN, John Henry
December 18, 1925 - January 28, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our father John Henry Hearn "Johnny" at the age of 88 years. He was born on a small farm in Northern Ontario on December 18, 1925 to William and Rose; he was the second of 14 children. He served Honorably in WWII and in the regular Forces for 27 years. For the past 15 years he has volunteered as a driver for the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. John is predeceased by his wife Verna and their two sons Gary and Terry. He is survived by two brothers and five sisters and by his children Julie (Bob), Cheryl (Gord), Debbie, Bob (Cathy), Dwight (Sheila), Donny (Melissa). John is also survived by approximately 18 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren. He will be missed by all of his family and many friends. A celebration of John's life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, 9202 Horton Road S.W. at 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 4, 2014.
