Audrey Grace Broad left on her final vacation at approximately 8:15 a.m. at Carewest Garrison Green in Calgary, on August 13, 2016 at the age of 89 years. Audrey was born in Courtland Norfolk County in Ontario on April 18, 1927. She will be missed by those whose lives she touched over the years and will be remembered by the many people she met during her 56 years with Beauty Counsellors of Canada Ltd. Audrey is survived by her daughter Constance (Randy) Ward of Hamilton Ontario; her grandchildren, Cheryl (Jason) Ward-Lerch of Woodstock Ontario, Michael (Rosemary) Dean of Tillsonburg Ontario, Kim Dean of Calgary Alberta, Brian (Carmen) Broad of Carstairs Alberta, and Gary Wilson of Burlington Ontario ; eleven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; her sister Felda Joy Chipps ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her parents Charles Emerson and Grace Ellen White; her husband Vernon Wallace Broad in December 1999; her son Brian Emerson Broad in January 2012; and her brother-in- law Lloyd Chipps in September 2015. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary, AB) on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family would like to send a special thanks to the fourth floor staff at Garrison Green for their wonderful care in Audrey's last months. In living memory of Audrey Broad, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
