I extend my condolences to Mr. de Leeuw's family. I was in Mr. de Leeuw's social studies class in 1984 and I really appreciate the meaning he brought to his teaching by sharing his experiences and stories. This was memorable and I remember his stories decades later. I also remember his kind approach to dealing with students.

My condolences to the family. I had Mr. De Leeuw as a social studies teacher way back in 1983/84 in grade 10. A great teacher, I still talk to my kids today about him and what he taught us and the stories he shared with the class. He left his mark on our class and I am sure many others, a great man for sure.
