Charles Wesley Wray

Charles Wesley Wray, 72, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on April 22, 2013. He was born July 24, 1940 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Kermit and Leona Elizabeth (Kern) Wray. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an engineer for Campbell Taggart, Inc. in Dallas, TX for 50 years. He also was a self employed artist for Home Interiors. On November 2, 2003, Charles was united in marriage to Karen Jeanne Linke Langreder. A member of the Canon Community Baptist Church, Charles was very active in the church functions. His love of Jesus was very important to him. Mr. Wray is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Dana (David) Diaz, Amber (Chris) Tornblom, Joseph Duff Ball, Luke (Julie) Wray, Sara (KC) Purvis; step-children, Sean (Nicole) Langreder and Aaron (Julie) Langreder; twenty grandchildren; sister, Barbara Eden; and Uncle Don Kern. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., prior to Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Canon Community Baptist Church at 1111 Monroe in Canon City. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canon Community Baptist Church Building Fund at 1111 Monroe, Canon City, CO 81212 or to People to People Radio Ministry at 1225 E. Rosemeade Pkwy., Carrollton, TX 75007. Arrangements handled through Holt Family Funeral Home
