Delois Taylor

1927 - 2015

Delois Taylor went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 23, 2015. She was born September 13, 1927 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Delois married John Taylor on April 26, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas. They would have been married 69 years this Sunday. She and John entered the ministry in 1950, and pastored Nazarene Churches in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Colorado, and Georgia before retiring in 1991. Delois loved reading, and volunteered for many years at Loaves and Fishes. She always looked forward to visits from her grandson, Conner. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched in so many ways. She is survived by her loving husband, John; son, Ron Taylor of Canon City; daughter, Becky Taylor of Green Valley, Arizona; granddaughter, Wendy (Ted) Frazzell; and grandson, Conner, all of Vail, Arizona. At her request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Holt Family Funeral Home.
