Anthony D. "Tony" Colarelli, 84, passed away February 28, 2013 in Canon City, Colorado. He was born May 27, 1928 in Brookside, Colorado to Nicola and Elisabetta (DiOrio) Colarelli. Tony was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Holmes in May 1959 in Clayton, New Mexico. Tony was a longtime local plumber. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He also belonged to the American Legion, Elks, and Columbian Lodge. Mr. Colarelli is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Warren (Michele) Colarelli, Colleen Colarelli (Robert Welch), and Anthony N. Colarelli (Kevin Carroll); grandchildren, Audra Colarelli, Michelle Colarelli, Karen Dybdahl, and Brian Roney; great grandchildren, Samantha Durbin, Alexandria Durbin, Alexias Dybdahl, Michael Roney, David Roney, and Simon Turner; sister-in-law, Angie Colarelli; one niece; 9 nephews; 14 great nieces; and 12 great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tomaso and Nicholas "Nick"; and sisters, Santina "Sandy" Santarelli, Mary Beltramo, and Ann Colarelli. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2013 at Holt Funeral Home in Canon City. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Canon City with Reverend Kevin Novack as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
