Charlotte Harris, 86, of Canon City, Colorado, died peacefully in her sleep April 19th, 2013 at Skyline Ridge care facility in Canon City. She was born April 26th, 1926 in Casper, Wyoming to Edward and Helen (Dempster) Fischer. She loved to play games with her family and take trips to the mountains to see the aspens. Charlotte is survived by her sons, Joe (Marie), Steve, and Mark (Fonda); grandchildren, Natalie, Devin, Lacy, Jonathan, and Brad; eight great grandchildren; and sisters, Margie (Charles) Brown of Cave Creek, AZ, and Janet Hall of Decatur, IL. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward and his wife, Virginia; and brother-in-law, Jim Hall. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Skyline Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff and Fremont Regional Hospice staff for their care and support in her final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Amazing Facts at PO Box 1058, Roseville, CA 95678.
