Priscilla Samento Obituary
Priscilla Elaine Jenkins Samento. What can be said about Priscilla Samento that nearly everyone she met hasn't already said? Priscilla would take the weight of the world off the shoulders of anyone in need, many times at the expense of her own needs. She could be the most sensitive person you would meet and at the same time had the strength of many. Priscilla is a Canon City native. She graduated from Canon City High school and had spent the past 21 years as a dispatcher for the Canon City Police Department. She loved her work and was dedicated to doing the absolute best she could do. She was that way in life as well. She loved her family. She would never miss out on family gatherings but hated playing family games. :-) She also loved to text and keep in touch with friends on facebook. Her pets were her children and she had a compassion for all animals. Priscilla is the beloved daughter of Yvonne Jenkins and the late Leo D. Jenkins of Canon City. She is survived by her sister, Jeannette Potter of Denver; brothers, Christopher Jenkins of Penrose, and Timothy (Kathy) Jenkins of Honolulu, HI. She had an extra special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, Savannah Jenkins, Breann (Jon) Hormachea, Devin Potter, Taylor Jenkins, Maddox and Alexander Jenkins. She is also survived by her late husband Dan Samento's sons, Jesse Samento and Shelby Massee. A Celebration of Life will be at 9:00 a.m. Friday, June 20th, 2014 at the Canon City High School Gymnasium. Arrangements are under the care of Holt Family Funeral Home.
