Thomas Byerly Obituary
Thomas Keith Byerly (AKA Olt Seal, Ace, or Hollywood) age 67, was finally able to shred those last 40 pounds and quit smoking, on January 31st, 2014. He was fortunate enough to use the same doors coming into this world as he did going out, at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo. Although we were not able to verify if the same Doctor attended both! Tom was known for his big smile, jovial personality, and disdain for liberals. His love and life was dedicated to his late wife Carolyn and his three sons Shannon, Todd (his favorite), and Dwayne. He was also not opposed to ice cream, cake, or anything else sweet. He was renowned for Buck Fever, Cowboy movies, funny jokes, taking his grandchildren fishing, and yelling at the Denver Donkeys. He enjoyed making people smile and always had time for a cup of coffee. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn. He is survived by his sons Shannon (Lynette), Todd, Dwayne (Leslie), and seven grandchildren Ryan, Lane, Jackson, Madeline, Samuel, Henry, and Lexine. His is survived by his sister Linda York, and brothers Hugh (June), and Stanley (Dorinda). A celebration of Tom's life will be held at the Friends Church in Penrose, Colorado on Thursday, February 6th at 11:00 am. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mid-Arkansas Valley Chapter #214 of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He will be missed by all that knew him.
