Laramie Hayden Obituary
Laramie Sue (Marshall) Hayden, passed away unexpectedly at her home on June 12, 2014. Laramie was born at Hill AFB, Utah and was raised in Canon City. She attended Lincoln Elementary and graduated from Canon City High School in 1996. She worked for St. Thomas More and DOC. On November 4, 2005, her daughter Dawn Floreine was born. In 2010, she married Robert Hayden. Laramie was many things-an avid outdoorsman, great nanny for the piglets and barrel racer, but what she was proudest of was being a mom and caring for her family. Not only was she an award-winning cook but her love for her daughter and stepchildren knew no bounds. She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Dawn; stepchildren, Justin, Sam and Shannon Hayden, Brianna and Chelsea Lloyd as well as her parents Chip (Donna) Marshall and Dawn (John) Daniels; brother, Heath (Tonia) Marshall; grandfather, Dean Marshall; grandmother, Doris (Don) Batson; nephew, Dean Grant Marshall and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded by grandfather, Darrel McNeff; grandmother, Bobbie Marshall; great-grandma Sue Marshall and great-grandma, Alice Cowdrey. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014, at 1:00 P.M., at Canon Community Baptist Church, 1111 Monroe, Canon City, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Angels Rescue Foundation, P.O. Box 75, Penrose, CO 81240. Arrangements entrusted to Harwood Funeral Home.
