Shirley Cronhardt, 74, passed away March 5th, 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO. Born July 13th, 1938 to parents Ernest and Gladys Winslow in Hutchinson, Kansas. Shirley went on to complete grade school and high school. After high school she married Jack Cronhardt, to whom she remained married to for 55 loving years. Shirley graduated college with an Associates in Art and worked as a secretary for Bayshore High School in Bradenton, FL In the years of raising five children, Shirley also enjoyed her work and free time. She managed high school alumni, enjoyed yard work, gardening, painting and collecting antiques. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jack Cronhardt of Canyon City, CO; children: Darcy (Thomas) Zanandrie of Colorado Springs, CO; Dustin (Mark) Anderson Cronhardt of Georgetown, TX; Lois (Matt) Kaufmann of Atlanta, GA; Alvin (Ivette) Castro of Myakka City, FL; and David Harwood of Tampa, FL. Grandchildren: Callie Zanandrie, Thomas Zanandrie Jr., Kellen Zanandrie ,Mackenzie Zanandrie, Seger Anderson, Sabastian Anderson, Eliza Castro, Isabele Castro, and Great Grand Daughter Zoey. No internment is planned at this time, but the family is requesting in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Alzheimer's Research in honor of Shirley.
