Obituary Condolences

Annette Cox, a devoted mother of four and wife of 53 years, died of lung cancer December 7. She was 73. She was born and grew up in Denver and had one brother Ronald. She married Sherman Cuvelier when she was 18 and raised her four children Corine, Lance, Sussette and Monique with him, and stayed happily married until his death in 2009. She remarried Charles Cox a year later. She adored her two grandchildren Alexandra and Andrew. She had a strong faith and was well liked at church. She told people about God and cared about the treatment of others. She had artistic talent and an interest in the arts, from decorating to ceramics to art history. Annette had a raucous sense of humor and loved nothing more than to make a room full of people laugh. A memorial service will be held Dec. 9 at Canon City Baptist Church and the burial will be at Ft. Logan Dec. 10 at 12:15 pm.
