Memories and Condolences
for John Soley

Not sure what to say?

John was a great man and an awesome father. I will always have the utmost respect for him. I was touched when him and Momma Soley always said they were proud of me for serving our country, even if it wasn't in the Marine Corps.

I will never forget when the family lived on Pike and we watched Scent of a Woman, or as he referred to it as "Stench of a Wench". I can never think of that movie the same way.

Prayers go out to the family.

Brian Weary (Nickles Bakery) to the family, so sorry for your loss. I only got to be friends with John a short time but he will be missed.

October 28, 2012

I have always admired Jack. Becoming a Marine during the historical Vietnam era, surviving through it, and coming home safe. During his leave time from military life, he always made time for us. He was a hero to me. To Aunt Babe, Gil, Jeannie and kids, no words can express my deepest sympathy. I am honored to be his cousin and to live in the time that he did. He was just a cool guy and I will surely miss him.

Daddy,

You will forever be an influential part of my life! I love and miss you so much, Please Guard those Gates until we get there! I will never forget all of our early morning fishing trips and our "talks" when we would go dress shopping for Prom. You were absolutely the best Daddy a girl could ask for. Love you with all my heart and soul...no one could ever replace you in my heart! You chose me and I will forever be grateful for that!

All my love~
Fer
