Carnes
age 55, of Homeworth, died June 26, 2013. He was born Dec. 10, 1957 in Canton, son to the late Ernest and Bessie (Smith) Carnes. Jeff enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers and motorcycle rides with his buddy, Sam. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Carnes and sister, Judy Pasquale.
He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Kadri (T.J.), Cristin Betro (Mike); son, Jeffrey Carnes Jr. (Rikki); siblings, Ernest Carnes, Beverly Lewis (Marvin), Patrick Carnes (Pam), Gary Carnes (Judy), Sue Wall (Ed), Jennifer Smith (William), and Michael Carnes (Cheryl); grandchildren, Chase, Annina and Brady; and many nieces and nephews. He was very excited about the August arrival of his third grandson.
His wishes were to be cremated. The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. There will be no service. Jeff gave the gift of life by becoming an organ donor and in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to Lifebanc, 4775 Richmond Road, Cleveland, OH 44128-5919.
