Sylvia E. Beaver
age 94, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013. She was born in Paris, Ohio on Aug. 17, 1919 to the late Otis and Mary (Royer) Bowman. Sylvia was a seamstress for the former Kandal Brothers Clothing Store in Louisville. She was a member of the Freeburg Church of the Brethren and she was an avid republican.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald R. Beaver, in 2007; two sons, Robert and Larry Beaver; and her daughter, Bonnie Davis. Sylvia is survived by her 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Judy Beaver and Susan Beaver; son-in-law, Orman Davis.
Private family services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Paul Cherry officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Louisville.
