Herbert E. Aeling
Herbert E. Aeling, age 72 of Minerva died Sunday April 23, 2006 in his home. He was born January 15, 1934 in Dover to the late, Otha "Jack" and Ruth (Donohue) Aeling. He retired from PCC Airfoils in Minerva where he worked for 42 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in New Franklin. He graduated from Sebring High School in 1950 and is President of the Alliance Saxson Lodge Branch #3, and an officer of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Spack) Aeling who he married June 7, 1958; a daughter, Denise (Jim) Crawford of Alliance; a son, John (Diane) Aeling of Minerva; six grandchildren, Jacob and David Snow, Matthew and Andrew Aeling, Casey and Courtney Crawford. He is preceded in death by a son, James Aeling, a sister, Shirley Augustein, two brothers, Delbert and Leonard Aeling. Following cremation, a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in New Franklin.
