My heart aches for your family, and for Grant too. I was never one of the popular kids back in school, but despite getting picked on Grant was always very nice to me and never had a mean word to say about anyone. His enthusiasm and great attitude were contagious to all he came in contact with. Heaven has gained a wonderful angel.

Grant, still trying to grasp onto everything. You have made an impact on my life as well as many others that were always surrounding you. You were an intelligent young, handsome man who always knew how to be humorous at the same time. You lit up every room with that beautiful smile and laugh. Thank you so much for always being a positive person and being the great friend that you have always been. I will never forget the conversations we have had or the skate trips we have made. Love you handsome. We will skate again someday. Skate in Peace.

I wish I had more than just memories of you now. This past year, our senior year, I know we weren't as close as we used to be... That doesn't make this any easier. You were always the one to put a smile on everyone's face. There is so much I want to say, but I can't seem to find the words to say it. You will be greatly missed my friend, and you will be forever in my heart Grant.
