Baker, Ray A.  
Ray A. Baker Age 55, Minerva, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, March 30, 2015 in the Great Trail Care Center in Minerva after a long battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 14, 1960 in Canton to Shirley (Bracken) (Baker) Gerren of Fla. and the late Keith Baker who died in 1987. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed shooting guns and tinkering in the garage. He was always available to help the family and friends with their many projects over the years. He is a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was a 1979 graduate of Carrollton High School. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda (Boord) Baker whom he married Feb. 17, 1979, two sons; Jason (Jami) Baker of New Philadelphia and Jeremie (Rachael) Baker of Cleveland, three grandchildren; Nicholas, Alli and Tyson, two sisters; Connie (Chris) Judy of Dennison and Joann (Roy) Stuart of Mathis, Texas, brother, Roger (Rhonda) Baker of Carrollton, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday 6-9 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 am in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church near Minerva with Pastor John Carpenter officiating. Bostic, Harold  
Harold F. Bostic 95, of Spencer, passed away at his residence Friday, March 27, 2015. He was born in Orleans, Ind. March 21, 1920 to George Brady and Etna (Payton) Bostic. Harold served in the United States Army from 1941- 1945. His occupations included Senior Leader for Civilian Conservation Corps., sales rep for Shell Oil Co., manager for Chicago Motor Cluago Club and Membership Director for Canton, Ohio Chamber of Commerce, and Executive Director of Massillon Ohio Area Chamber of Commerce and Massillon Development Foundation. He was a member of Spencer Masonic Lodge #95, Spencer Lions Club, Spencer Exchange Club, Spencer Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 105 in London, Ohio, and a past member of Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio. Harold is survived by two daughters, Karen Weaver (David) of Spencer and Phyllis Bostic of Massillon, Ohio; grandsons, Michael and Stephen (Amy) Weaver both of Spencer; and great-grandsons, Elijah, Maddex, and Cash Weaver. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Clara (Nabergall) Bostic; and stepfather, George Meyers; siblings, James Bostic and Betty Hattabaugh. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Pastor David Lee will officiate. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Masonic Service will be performed at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Military Rites will be performed by the Spencer American Legion and VFW. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Kirkwood Cemetery in London, Ohio. Byer, Lucille (Benish)  
'Together Again' Lucille (Benish) Byer 91, of Massillon, passed away at home on Sunday, March 29, 2015 with her family at her side. She was born in Massillon on Feb. 14, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Victor and Margaret (Kerza) Benish. Lucille was a homemaker and liked to travel, garden and decorate inside and outside for every occasion. She was a teddy bear collector and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Canton. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Byer, her brother, Joseph Benish and her sisters, Irene Timney, Margaret Krotky and Elizabeth Lindsey. She is survived by her children, Blaine Byer, Jr., Bonnie Kirkbride, Thomas (Barb) Byer and Virgil (Linda) Byer. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Pastor Eldon Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday (TONIGHT) from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour before the service. She was born on June 27, 1929 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Winifred (Lepsch) Sampson. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Cindy A. (Robert) Wagner and Debbie (Fred Lindsay) Dingler; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Niklas) Gerborg, Jeremy (Angela) Wagner, Derek (Hope) Dingler and Lindsay (Ray) Sutkowski and four great-grandchildren, Jack, Lukas, Sophie and Mason. Beadnell, Elden John  
Elden John Beadnell Elden John Beadnell, 87, of Minerva, passed away, Tuesday, March 24th, 2015 in Alliance Community Hospital. Elden was born in Lisbon, Ohio on June 12, 1927, a son of the late Lawrence and Flora (Ridgeway) Beadnell. He worked at Summitville Tile and was a flagman for Pennsylvania Railroad. Elden is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth (Lowe) Beadnell; a daughter, Deanna (Jason) Common, of Minerva; a son, Larry Beadnell, of Minerva; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen Ankeny, of Minerva. He is preceded in death by brothers Lawrence, Jack and Bob, and sisters Wilma McClain and Trella Walters. Gordon T. Belew Age 75, of East Canton, passed away in his home Wednesday, March 25, 2015 following an extended illness. He was born June 19, 1939 in East Canton to the late James Taylor and Viola Hattie (Werley) Belew. Gordon was a life resident of East Canton and retired from Sugardale Foods after 32 years of service. He was an Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Gene Belew. Gordon is survived by four children and their spouses, Deborah and Harold Jeff Gantz, Robert and Dreena Belew Sr., William and Karen Belew, James Belew; seven grandchildren, Robert Belew Jr., Anna Belew, Vanessa Gantz, Ben Belew, Austin Gantz, Logan Belew and Gage Belew; his former wife, Barbara Belew.
