Yakubisin, Kathryn Mary
Kathryn Mary Yakubisin was born April 15, 1925 and entered eternal life April 6, 2015. She married the love of her life, Michael A. Yakubisin, on July 4, 1946 and together they built a true and pure love story that movies attempt to create and people strive to emulate. Family was the absolute most important thing in her life. No soul was permitted to walk away from her space with an empty stomach. Her quick wit, sense of humor, and ornery twinkle in her eye could surprise you. She documented everything on her perpetual calendar; therefore loved ones will remember her thoughtful notes and cards. Politicians will remember her strongly worded letters. Kathryn was spunky, opinionated, strong-willed, and all her words and actions originated from a place of love. Her living legacy exists all because two people fell in love! Her spirit is carried on by her husband Michael, her children Diane (William) Eckroate, Jeffrey (Wendie) Yakubisin, Susan (Shawn) Winberry; seven grandchildren Jennifer (Tyson) White, Amanda (John) Tabellion, Sarah (Chris) Dean, Emily Eckroate, Stacy (Richard) Wall, Carrie (Matt) Foust, April (Jason) Taylor; and 15 great- grandchildren Will, Grace and Kate Tabellion, Sophia and Layla Dean, Anthony and Stella Collier, Ryan, Kayla and Samantha Wall, Brady, Blake and Brooke Foust, Dawson and Sydney Taylor. Kathryn was preceded in death by parents Walter and Mary Lenartowicz, sister Irene Shingary, and brothers Chester and Victor Lenartowicz. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Louis Church, St. Louis School, Stark County Humane Society, or The Domestic Violence Project. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, April 14 at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville with Fr. Larry Frient officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery in Harrisburg. Arrangements are at the direction of the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home of Louisville.
