Ammond Jr., Clyde R.  
Clyde R. Ammond Jr., age 82 of Massillon, passed away at his residence Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 surrounded by his family. Clyde was born on March 13, 1932 in Massillon, the son of Clyde and Goldie (Fetters) Ammond, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1950 graduate of Washington High School. Clyde was the fleet manager for McClain Grocery Co. He worked for Boebinger Realty where he managed the Massillon/Jackson office where he retired. Clyde was a member of the Lions Club and Freedom Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Hedges) Ammond, whom he married on Sept. 28, 1951; his children and their spouses, Tim (Marol) Ammond, David (Cathy) Ammond, and Keely (Eddie) DiLoreto; his grandchildren, Katie (Rolly) Skibicki, Kara DiLoreto, T.J. (Jennifer) Ammond, Emilee, Logan, Christopher, and Leah Ammond; his great- granddaughter, Eva Ammond; his sister-in-law, Omeda ‘Toot' (Danny) Welsh; and his nieces, Jill Welsh and Jennifer (David) Fischer. A Celebration of Clyde's life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Pastor Dale Calloway of Freedom Baptist Church will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12–1 p.m. before the service. Armentrout Jr., Luke  
Luke Arthur Armentrout Jr. age 68 of Canton, passed away Dec. 20, 2014. He was born Jan. 20, 1946 in Elkins, W.Va. to Luke Sr and Joan (Morris) Armentrout. Luke was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy who served in Vietnam on the USS Independence. He was a truck driver for Rhode Island Produce and then retired from North Canton Transfer. Luke was a member of VFW 4747 and American Legion 44, both in Canton. He was an avid reader, fisherman, and hunter, who loved to ride motorcycles. Luke was preceded in death by his mother, Joan; and his companion, Donna. He is survived by his son, Luke Armentrout III; daughter, Lori Degnan; sisters, Constance (Roger) Buckridge and Cynthia Smith; grandsons, John and Luke Degnan; and nieces and nephews, Tammy Smith, Tom and Michael Bryant, and Scott Buckridge. A graveside service and burial will be take place at Abrovale Cemetery in Arbovale, W.Va. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at 10 am. Augustine, Amelia A.  
Amelia A. Augustine 96, of Canton, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Amelia was born in Canton on April 6, 1918, of the late John and Katherine (Vaclav) Novak, also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Augustine, who died in 1980; a sister, Margaret Machuga; and a brother, John Novak. Employed for 40 years as a Bearing Inspector for the Timken Company retiring in 1980. Member of the former St. Paul's Catholic Church of Canton and its Alter Rosary Society. Survived by daughter, Theresa (Dick) Rohrer of Knoxville, Tenn.; four sons: Paul (Carolyn) Augustine of Canton, Ronald Augustine of Navarre, John Augustine of Canton, Alex Augustine of Canton; three sisters, Mary Bauman of Columbus, Helen Efanti of Canton, Norma Raus of Newport Beach, Calif.; brother, Donald Novak of Canton; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Aukerman, Earl Wesley  
Earl Wesley Aukerman 82 of Cambridge, Ohio, departed this life Dec. 18, 2014. Earl was born in East Canton, graduating from East Canton High School in 1950. Earl served our country in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He worked for the Timken Company over 31 years, beginning an apprenticeship in tool and gauge inspection, eventually becoming a production supervisor. While working in the bearing factory, he served the local Church of God of Prophecy congregation as a deacon and bishop. After retiring from the Timken Company in 1982, he entered full-time ministry, serving as a pastor to congregations in Ohio and as a treasurer for the church's state headquarters. Earl was pre-deceased by his parents, Elmer and Hazel; brother, Robert; and sister, Dorothy. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara; two children, Robert (Deborah) Aukerman and Theresa (Mike) Stevens; five grandchildren, Norissa Lears, Gilbert Aukerman, Mikkola Aukerman, Will Stevens, and Jeffrey Stevens; brother, Donald (Bretta) Aukerman; sisters, Eleanor Cartwright, Sue Anne (J. Arnold) Fair, and Esther Hasting. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 from 10:30-12noon, followed by a funeral service to celebrate his life at noon, with Bishop Robert Garman officiating. A graveside service and burial will take place in Mapleton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, his family requests memorial donations be made to the Cambridge Congregation of the Church of God of Prophecy, 60945 Fairdale Drive, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
