Arginovski, Radovan  
Radovan Arginovski age 84, passed away on July 23, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. He was born April 3, 1931 in Macedonia, and has lived in Jackson Twp. for the past 12 years. He was a retired school principal. Radovan enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time playing and teaching his great-grandchildren. He is survived by daughters, Nada (Metodija) Laskovski, Slavica (Roy) George and Biljana (Antoni) Zajkovski; grandchildren, Jasmina (Zoran), Nick (Melissa), Ivana (Muhamad), Nikola, Sonia and Emma; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Anthony, Ava, Brennen, Isabella, Neeya and Sumaya, and family and friends in Macedonia and Australia.He was preceded in death by his wife Sofia and son-in-law, Mirko. Visitation will be held Monday, July 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m.. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W. Massillon. Pomen Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 10 a.m.. at St. George Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in North Canton with Rev. Fr. Aleksa Pavichevich officiating. Backus, Mary A.  
Mary A. Backus 77 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Mary was born on Aug. 1, 1937 in Massillon the daughter of the late Louis Kouth and Mary E. (Harmon) Backus. Mary was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1955 graduate of Brewster High School. Following graduation she attended Ohio University and obtained a Cadet Teacher's certificate. She worked at many places throughout her life, but primarily taught at the North Lawrence and Massillon School Districts. Mary enjoyed spending time helping family members and worshiping and serving at Justus U.M.C. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Backus in 2006 and her grandson Adam Backus. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Michael (Marsha) Backus, Jeffrey Backus, Scot Backus, Doug (Donna) Backus, Bradley (Megan Gutshall) Backus, and Julie (Jamie) Hamilton; her brothers, Richard Allen Kouth and William John (Mary Sue) Kouth; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Mary's life will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Justus U.M.C.: 11771 Navarre Rd. SW Navarre, OH 44662. Rev. Brian Allen officiating. Baker, Joyce Marie  
Joyce Marie Baker 1939-2015 age 75, of Glenmont, Ohio passed away Tuesday evening, July 28, 2015 at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg, Ohio following an extended illness. Joyce was born Dec. 15, 1939 in Canton, Ohio and was the daughter of Walter H. And Virginia M. (Johnson) Schoeppner Sr. On June 6, 1977 she married Donald A. Baker and he survives. Joyce was a homemaker. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping. She was a member of the Killbuck VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving in addition to her husband is her son, Ramey (Paula) Ali of Massillon, Ohio; three step children, Donald Baker Jr. of Dalton, Ohio, Richard (Ronnie) Baker of Canton, Ohio and Sharon (Mark) Valentine of Massillon, Ohio; six grandchildren, Brittney Ali, Angie Baker, Julie Baker, Lori Baker, Blake Baker and Holly Manely; four great grandchildren; a brother, Daniel (Nancy) Schoeppner of Massillon, Ohio; a sister, Patricia Smith of Oregon; and a sister-in-law, Rhoda Schoeppner. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Walter M. Schoeppner Jr.; a sister, Shirley Givens; and a grandson, Travis Valentine. There will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Wilda Fern (Landers) Baker New Franklin- On Monday, July 20, 2015, Wilda Fern (Landers) Baker, age 88, passed away peacefully in the presence of her son, Martin and his girlfriend, Becky, after a lengthy illness. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Fern will be deeply missed by all. Fern was born to Dewey V. and Mae Jewel (Wilson) Landers of Spruce Pine, Ala. She graduated from Timken Vocational School class of 1945. Upon graduation, Fern opened her own beauty shop in downtown Canton, Ohio. She later became a modeling coach and self-improvement coach for Jane Skinner Modeling Agency, a personal development coach and modeling instructor for John Robert Powers Agency, an assistant director for Bon Chic as well as a beauty consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. Fern was also known for her green thumb and beautiful flower gardens. She enjoyed extensive travel, bingo and spending time with her family. Fern is survived by her sons, William Sherman Baker Jr. (Judy Wade) of Phoenix, Arizona and Martin A. Baker (girlfriend, Becky Race) of New Franklin, Ohio; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Fern is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Sherman Baker; brother, Dewey V. Landers Jr. (Mary Alice); and sister, Rita Mae Tripathy (Dr. Ghana Shyam “Sam”). A heartfelt and sincere thank you to the wonderful administration, staff and residents at Rose Lane Nursing Home and Sprenger Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion for Fern and her family. JOSEPH THOMAS BAUMGART, JR. 1954 - 2015 About Baumgart € of Oklahoma City, Okla. Joseph Thomas Baumgart, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of Sunday, July 26, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Okla. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Cynthia Miller Baumgart; children, Helen Ruth Baumgart, Sarah Baumgart Canessa, and Andrew Joseph Baumgart. He also is survived by his sisters, Katie Ruth Lamb and Debbie Boldman. Joe will be honored at a Memorial Service at Northwest Bible Church, 4301 NW 36th St., OKC Thursday, July 29 at 6 p.m. A service in Ohio will be held at a later date.
