Yoder, Gerald  
Gerald 'Jerry' Eugene Yoder Age 77, of Salem, S.C., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015. He was born Sept. 23, 1937 to the late Harry and Anna Yoder of Massillon, Ohio. A graduate of Massillon Washington High School, he was a proud member of the 1954 state championship football team as its starting halfback (GO TIGERS!). He was a graduate of Wittenberg University and served in the Army National Guard. In the course of a 30 plus year career The Cincinnati Insurance Co., he resided in Cleveland, Ohio where he met his wife, and also in Lilburn, Ga., where he was active in The Lions Club. He loved spending time with his family and was a skilled and dedicated amateur tennis player. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Jake, Bob, Glenn and Mary Ann Yoder. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eugenie; daughter, Julie Yoder of Washington, D.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Rebecca Yoder; and grandson, Jacob of Flowery Branch, Ga.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Pat Yoder of Texas, Chris and Beth Yoder of Suweannee, Ga., Kenny and Kathy Yoder, Charles and Ruth Yoder of Massillon, Ohio, George and Tamera Yoder of Florida; and a special sister-in-law, Gerry Beiter Yoder White of Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Club at Keowee Key in Salem, S.C. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jerry's name to Girls Rock~! DC, a non-profit organization founded by his daughter ( girlsrockdc.org ) or to another charity of choice.

Youngdahl, James N.  
James N. Youngdahl age 75, of Jackson Twp., died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born Aug. 14, 1939, in Jackson, Miss. the son of the late Lester H. and Helen (Baronick) Youngdahl. He graduated from Garfield High School class of 1957 and Case Institute of Technology in 1962 where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. Jim retired from IBM where he was a salesman for 30 years. Jim was the treasurer of Eagles 190 in Massillon. He was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and a forever Cleveland Browns fan. Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan C. (Flowers) Youngdahl; three children, Leslie Tomlin, James D. (Jeanne) Youngdahl, Kris (Neil) Moore; three grandchildren, Taylor, Drew, and Paige Youngdahl; brother, David Youngdahl of Tallahassee, Fla. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Youngdahl. Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, Massillon 44646, with an Eagles service at 9:40am. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, at 12p.m..
