Bolgrin, Gale C.  
Gale C. Bolgrin 1920-2016 age 95, of Canton, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Laurels of Massillon. Gale was born on Dec. 29, 1920 in Akron, Ohio, the son of William C. and Clara B. (Wallace) Bolgrin and was a 1938 graduate of Coventry High School in Akron. Gale was a member of the Local #219 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union since 1948 and retired from Honeywell with 31 years of service. Gale was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and a member of the Central Congregation on Dueber Avenue in Canton. Gale loved fishing, spending time with his family and friends and studying the Bible. Gale was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Alice R. Bolgrin (2005), his son, David G. (Sandra) Bolgrin (2015) and daughter, Kalynn (David) Unger (2005). He is survived by his daughter, Laurel (David) Hayes; his loving and loyal sister, Norma (Michael) Petros; his grandchildren, Marybeth (Scott) Wintrow, Emily (Jason) Provchy, Todd (Mindy) Bolgrin, Heidi (Rex) Anthony, Holly Unger (Craig Miller), Katie (Tom) Shimek and Wyatt Hayes; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon and Jacob Wintrow, Easton Bolgrin and Hunter Shimek and nieces, Susan Saltalamacchia and Carol (David) Campigotto. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3511 Dueber Avenue, SW, Canton, Ohio 44706. Friends may call prior to the memorial service from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall. Officiating the services will Gene Christy. Bowman, James W.  
James W. Bowman 1935-2016 age 81, of Massillon, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016. He was born Feb. 22, 1935, son of the late Arden and Lillian (Light) Bowman. James was a lineman and technician for Ohio Bell where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of the Massillon Moose, Sons of Herman and a lifetime member of North Lawrence Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed camping at Dogwood Acres, fishing and hunting. James is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara (Kraft) Bowman; son, Richard Bowman and his partner, Bob Eldridge of Akron; daughters, Jolene Bischoff of Akron and Lori Dearth of Massillon; granddaughters, Kristen (Dustin) Hendricks and Amanda (Michael) Miller; great-grandchildren, Mason and Carter Hendricks and Michael Miller Jr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah (Sally) Bowman. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heitger Funeral Home, 639 First St. N.E., Massillon. Brannan, Martha  
Martha (Marty Edwards) Brannan age 89, of Canton, passed away Thursday evening in her residence. Born in Canton to the late Albert and Roxie (Brumbaugh) Ricker, she was a life resident. Marty was a 1945 graduate of Lehman High School, charter member of Church of the Lakes United Methodist, former president and member of Westark Republican Women, and former member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. Marty was a great mom, a fun-loving friend, and helped many disabled/elderly friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brannan, and three brothers, James, Ed, and Roger Ricker. She is survived by her daughter, retired Judge Julie A. Edwards of Canton and son, James W. (Janet) Edwards of East Canton; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Angela Edwards, also survive. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. in Church of the Lakes United Methodist with Pastor Bryan George officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Sharon M. Breen (Stefan) Sharon passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at the age of 44. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on Sept. 10, 1971, and was a long time resident of Jackson Township. She graduated from Northwest High School in Canal Fulton in 1989. She is survived by her children, Ashley (26), Tommy (19), Emily (14), and Elise (14). Breiding, Robert J. "Bob"  
Robert J. “Bob” Breiding 1932-2016 Robert J. “Bob” Breiding, 83, of Alliance passed away May 17, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 18, 1932 and lived most of his life in the Stark County area.   After retiring from 40 years as a meat cutter, he enjoyed fishing, tending to his Christmas tree farm, and spending time with his family.   He was a proud Navy veteran serving on the USS DesMoines, a member of St. Joseph Maximo Parish and a past member of Lake P'Na Sportsmen's Club. Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Donna, daughters Shirley (Kirk) Glockner of Wilmington, N.C., Patricia (Mark) Hogrebe of Millstadt, Ill., Kathy (Ron) Secrest of Malvern, Theresa (Mike) Estock of Beloit, Debbie (Rick) Cuenot of Louisville, Donna (Scott) Fitzgerald of Alliance, stepson John Helmkamp of Canton, 18 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sister Jeanette Toussant and brothers James (Mary) and Jerry (Jane) all of Alliance. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Matilda (Bechter) Breiding, wife Narice (Truscott) Breiding, brothers Louis (Sylvia) of Barberton and Thomas (Patricia) of Lindwood, Mich. and half-sister Virginia (Jerry) Uhrig of Ketterington, Ohio. Catherine B. (Salvaterra) Bresiger 1930-2016 Age 85 of North Canton, Ohio, died Sunday, May 23, 2016 following a short illness. She was born on June 27, 1930 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late John and Anne (Lusky) Salvaterra. She was a graduate of the Wheeling School of Cosmetology and has lived in North Canton since 1966. Catherine was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother Mary through her daily Rosary. She married Rudy Bresiger in 1950. Together they raised four children and recently celebrated their 66th year of marriage on the 20th of May. Also survived by children, David (Sam) of Louisville, Barbara Louise Dodson, deceased (Charles of Jackson Township), Donald Michael (Valerie) of Ky., Rudy Steven (Jennifer) of Jackson Township; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Beverly), John (Nadine) and sister Maryanne. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church and Friday from 10 to 11:00 a.m., a Mass of Christian burial will follow with Rev. Fr.
