Ada L. Fisher
Age 98, of Canton died Monday, April 8, 2013 in Homosassa, Fla. Born Nov. 20, 1914 in Canton, Ohio to the late Ralph and Beatrice (Andrews) Barton. She was a life resident of Canton and a 1934 graduate of Canton Township High School. Ada was formerly employed by W.T. Grant and had been a dance instructor. She was the oldest member of North Industry Christian Church where she had taught 1st grade Sunday school class for 15 years and played the piano. She was also a former member of Daughters of America. Preceded in death by her husband, John L. Fisher; one son, Jack Fisher; and one brother, Glenn Barton.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Monica Fisher of Homosassa, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Charlie Litten of Canton; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. in North Industry Christian Church, 425 45th Street SW, Canton, OH 44706, with Stephen Kimbrel officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
