'Together Again'Betty Grace
age 89 of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She was born Sept. 17, 1923 in Orange Township, Carroll County to James Wilbur and Nannie Elva (Brower) Campbell. Betty was a cafeteria cook with the Carrollton Exempted School District and a lifetime resident of Carroll County. She belonged to the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and was active in all phases of the church. A member of the Singing Christians. Betty was a 4H Advisor for the Petersburg Future Homemakers for five years. She was a Gray Lady and belonged to the Rebeckah Lodge, Women's W.C.T.U., the Petersburg Grange, worked at the Kroger Store and Virginia Restaurant. Betty married Richard Rutledge June 1, 1946 and he passed Feb. 27, 1984.
Betty is survived by three sons, Richard (Jill) Rutledge of East Rochester, Joseph L. Rutledge of Mantua, Ohio and Thomas V. Rutledge of Carrollton; and a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Margaret) S. Brown of Alliance, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Morgan Rutledge, Evan Rutledge, Amanda Brown and Michael Brown. Preceding her in death was brother, Charles Campbell; and three sisters, Helen Buxton, Dorothy Johnson and Marie Gorman.

Calling hours for Betty will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 and one hour before time of service at the Allmon Dugger Cotton Funeral Home. The funeral for Betty will be at 12 Noon Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
