Bruce A. Marti
age 53, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at the St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was born on Oct. 25, 1960, in Canton, Ohio, a son of the late Earl and Betty Woody Marti.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.  Surviving is one sister, Barbara and husband Douglas Marteney; nephew, William Wright; and many loving and caring aunts, uncles, and cousins. 
 Mr. Marti lived most of his life in Canton, where he graduated from GlenOak High School.  He later moved to Cleveland and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed watching NASCAR.  He especially enjoyed hunting in West Virginia with his many family members and friends.  He was a carpenter by trade and a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having attained the rank of Corporal. 
The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, from 11-12 Noon, the funeral hour, at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel in Buckhannon, W.Va., with the Rev. Robert F. Heavner officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery at Selbyville, W.Va., where the Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct military honors.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bruce's memory to a veterans' organization of your choice.  Online condolences may be extended to the Marti family at  The Marti family has entrusted the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel with the arrangements.
