Charles L. Julian
age 84 of Massillon, passed away on July 13, 2013. Charles was born in Detroit, Mich. on March 5, 1929 to the late Guy and Hazel Julian, and was raised in Gray Ridge, Mo. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, past president of the Jackson Township Lions Club, president of the Growth Unlimited Stock Club, an avid supporter of Massillon and Jackson sporting events, and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Charles retired as vice president of F.W. Renner & Sons. He was very deeply loved by his family and friends and will be forever missed. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed, Paul, and Tony; sisters, Ada Dean Clay, and Maxine Harrell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joanne; sons, Guy (Amy), Jeff (Betsy), and Troy (Diane); grandchildren, Kyle (Brittany), Max (Katy), Casey, Evan, CJ, Stephanie, and Peyton; sister, Glenda Crowe; sisters-in-law, Nancy Lee Gardner, Pauline Julian, Kay Julian; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel (801 Pittsburg Ave. NW). Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
