Dale Jean 'DeeDee' Farr
age 53, died Monday after a lifetime journey with Muscular Dystrophy. She was a life resident of Canton, 1978 graduate of McKinley High School, and had worked parttime for A Private Spa. DeeDee was Miss Congeniality in the Miss Wheel Chair Ohio Pageant, enjoyed bowling, and did volunteer work at daycares, reading to elderly and the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum. Her passion in life was to protect animals. Survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Melody and David Norris and Cindy and Jeffery Reutter, all of Canton; brother and sister-in-law, James F. and Deborah Farr of Mineral City; three nieces, Tina McNutt, Stacie Norris and Mandy Noland; three nephews, David E. Norris and Jamie and Jason Farr; three great-nieces; five great-nephews; one great-great-niece; and three great-great-nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, James B. and Yvonne Farr; great-niece, Erica Billman; and the love of her life, Richard Mohler.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Msgr. Lewis Gaetano officiating.
