80, of Jackson Township, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017.
Preceeded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (McAllister) Floom, to whom he was married 52 years; parents, Donald and Kathleen Floom; siblings, Larry and Connie Floom. Survived by daughter, Crystal (Brian) Hill; son, Donald Michael (Michelle) Floom; grandchildren, Hailey Floom; Jacob Hill; Katie Floom; and siblings, Robert Floom; Charlotte Waltenbaugh; Joni Wright.
Don was born in North Canton, graduated from North Canton High School, and worked 37 years as Head Pressman for Danner Press. Don treasured Myrtle Beach vacations with his family, early days of running, taking casino trips with Pat, and found great joy in spending time with his loving children and grandchildren. Despite health challenges, Don forever had a reassuring smile and gentle voice, seeing the beauty and joy in life through his family's love, laughter and care. The family wishes to thank Jackson Township Police and EMS for their professionalism and compassion.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church of North Canton, 241 St. Main St. North Canton, OH 44720 with Msgr Rev.
