Age 83, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 after a long illness. Born in Dayton she had lived in North Canton since 1968. Dottie was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton, St. Paul's Women's Guild and the McKinley Bridge Association Unit 213 American Contract Bridge League which she achieved Master's status. She enjoyed watching and playing all sports especially racquetball which she was a Stark County Singles and Doubles Champion.
Survived by her husband, Joseph B. 'Barney' Kistner of North Canton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Claudette Kistner of Taunton, Mass. and Joseph R. Kistner of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Ben, Kelsey and Aimee Kistner; sister, Virginia Hanby of Dayton; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a sister, Viola Lawyer.
Family and friends will meet on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at. St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton for a Mass of Christian Burial with Msgr. James Clarke as celebrant. Burial will be in Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
