Edward C. Falkner
age 78 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was born on Feb. 10, 1935 in Canton to the late Charles and Gwendolyn Falkner. Edward was a graduate of Timken High School. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Edward retired from the CIA and went on to a career with Republic Steel for over 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Edward was a devoted father and grandfather. His children and grandchildren were his life. He loved football, especially his Glenoak Golden Eagles and was passionate about music, the theatre and dancing. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Falkner and niece, Laurie Falkner of Canton.
He is survived by his children, Jeff Falkner and Tylene Hill, both of Canton and his grandchildren, Teagan, Reid and Camden Hill of Canton. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Shelva Falkner; nieces and nephews, Tracey Psaris, Craig Falkner, Tiffany Vollmer, and Bret Falkner.
