Florence Louise Simile
Louise Simile entered heaven on Sept. 27, 2013 after a courageous month long battle with cancer. Born on March 24, 1922 in Cleveland, Louise was a life-long resident of Canton.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Angelo, whom she was married for 53 years, her parents, Battiste Capobianco and Rose Scrima and step-father, Mike Scrima, a sister, Louise Florence, brothers, William (Jean) Capobianco, Matthew (Boots) Capobianco and brother-in-law, Rick Bardine. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Gene) Mucci; three grandsons, Jeff (Barb), Dan (Tera) and Marc (Jen) Mucci; and six great-grandchildren, Erica, Erin, Serena, JJ, Addie and Carter Mucci; two sisters, Toni Bardine and Jean (Don) Haidys; brother, David (Dorothy) Capobianco, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Louise was employed by Stern and Manns, the Hoover Company, and retired from A & D Foodarama after 35 years as head cashier. She was a poll worker for the Stark County Board of Elections for 10 years. Louise was a kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Aultman Compassionate Care Center for the wonderful care Louise was given during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. N.W., Canton, Ohio 44708. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am at Little Flower Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Ed Keck, celebrant. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
