James E. Burch, Sr.
age 65 of Canton, passed away Wednesday afternoon. Born in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Clyde and Nina (Reynolds) Burch, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Osborn; brother, Clyde Burch Jr.; and sisters, Maryann Jackson and Betty Franklin. James was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from Republic Engineered Steel. James was an avid sportsman and loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Candy (Bezio) Burch; children, Nina (Eric) Simon of Canton, Jeannie (Tony) Harrison of Charlotte, N.C., James (Shelli) Burch Jr. of Seneca, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Ciara, Kyla, Shyanne, Vincent, Brandon, Ahlaia, AJ; sister, Cathy (R.B.) Mussard; brothers, Bobby Burch, Tom (Darlene) Burch, all of Bellaire, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Mike Franklin of Massillon, J.R. Jackson of Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Rossi Funeral Home with services to follow at 4, Margaret 'Butch' Morris officiating.
