age 80, of North Canton, passed away peacefully Friday Oct. 11, 2013 after a brief illness. Joan was born Feb. 6th 1933 in Montevideo, Uruguay and lived in various places around the world before settling in North Canton, Ohio in 1970. She married her life partner and best friend Robert in 1960, and for more than half a century they devoted their lives to constructing a nurturing home for their three children. She was dedicated to her family and greatly enjoyed tennis, playing bridge with her friends, shopping, holidays with her family, and visiting her favorite places of Hilton Head, Disney World, and London. Everyone that met her was touched by her warm, welcoming personality and always-pleasant nature.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Peet of North Canton; daughter, Stephanie Teodosio of Hudson, Ohio; son, Richard Peet, of Cranberry Twp., Pa., and her six grandchildren she loved so much, Caitlin and Bobby Peet, Columbus, Ohio, Nick and Joey Teodosio, Hudson, Ohio, and Johnathon and Lauren Peet, Cranberry Twp., Pa. She joins in heaven her loving son, Bob Peet; her brother, John Arlington and her devoted Mother, Victoria Arlington.
Per her wishes, she has graciously donated herself to the advancement of science at the Northeast Ohio Medical University. There will be no memorials or services scheduled per her request.
