John C. Mundorff
83, passed away Dec. 11, 2013. He was born on Oct. 25, 1930 the son of John and Ethel Mundorff in Zanesville, Ohio. He graduated from North Canton High School in 1948. He also attended Ohio University. John served our country as a Active Reserve for the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Weber Construction for 22 years and was self employed doing home construction for 15 years before retiring. He was an active member of North Canton Jaycees. He was also a member of Community Christian Church. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, was an avid Ohio State University fan but above all he enjoyed being with his family and his beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
John is survived by his loving family, wife, Carole of 61 years; children, Robert S. Mundorff, Kim A. (Tim) Miller, Terrilyn (Peter) Kazmarsky, Andrea (William) Thomason, Allison (Chan) Brown, John Christopher Mundorff and Jill (Paul) McCarthy; nine grandchildren, Leanna, Collin, Ashley, Westen, Cameron, Christopher, Hannah, Tara and Matthew; brother, Thomas (Melinda) Mundorff; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Reed Funeral Home (North Canton Chapel) where services will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Ralph S. Wearstler officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the
