John G. Krom
age 58, of Canton passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 16, 2014 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born Jan. 10, 1956 in Gloversville, N.Y. to his parents, the late William and Shirley Krom. John was a former 20 year employee of Diebold. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and Toast Masters. John served his country in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating.
He is survived by his wife, Mary with whom he would have celebrated 29 years of marriage this March 16; son, Patrick; sisters, Kathy (Ken) Malloy of Albany, N.Y., Nancy Krom of Roanoke, Va., Susan (Buddy) Carter of Ferrum, Va., Jane Bezio of Broadalbin, N.Y.; brother, David Krom of Alaska; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church with Fr. Leo Wehrlin as celebrant. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. in the Williams Funeral Home and Thursday 10-11 a.m. at the church. The family request that donations in John's name may be made to the
