Karlean Knupp-Shaffer
passed suddenly April 23, 2014. She was born on Jan. 29, 1978 in Warren, Ohio to parents Edgar and Karen (Hofmann) Knupp. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Karl and Arlean Hofmann and Martha and Raymond Hanlon. She is survived by her beloved children; Leia Shaffer, Colin "C.J." Shaffer, and Braden Shaffer. She is also survived by aunts Diana Hofmann and Susan Hofmann Schroeder and cousins Kristina Phillips-Vining, Derek and Lisa Kling and their son Andrew and daughter Paige and Alan and Amber Mabry and their son Aiden.
A Memorial Service will be held in remembrance on Friday from 6-7 p.m.. at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Friends are welcome to join her family in celebrating her life and sharing memories. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to Reed Funeral Home.

I would like to say thank you to beautiful person inside and out. At one point in time...Karlean and I were inseperable. She brought me to life and inspired me to regain my self securities. My heart goes out to her 3 beautiful children and her amazing parents. I'm so sorry Karlean for the way we drifted apart but you will always be near and dear to my heart.

So sad this happened. I was just sharing stories about Karlean and my friendship to my teenage step-daughter because she and her friends remind me of things Karlean and I did at their age. I haven't seen Karlean in many years, but I did have the pleasure of connecting with her a few years ago via FB. My sympathy and love to Karlean's children, Karen and Edgar, as well as her Family and Friends. May you draw close to God during this sad time. James 4:8.
