Kenneth E. Rohrer
71, of Navarre, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Canton on July 18, 1942 to the late Earl and Grace (Sliger) Rohrer and married Shirley M. Beard on June 1, 1962. She died July 12, 2012. He retired from Beaver Excavating in Canton and was a member of the Beach City Bible Methodist Church where he served as the organist.
He is survived by children, Jeffrey S. (Elizabeth) Rohrer of York, S.C., Gerald (Susan) Rohrer of Clover, S.C., Jonathan W. (Christine) Rohrer of Beach City, Lori D. (Chad) Jackman of Sumner, Ill., and Earl N. Rohrer of Chambersburg, Pa; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene (Larry) Sharp and Nancy (Donald) Spiker, both of Wilmot and Joyce (Mark) Duff of Massillon; and a brother, Edwin Rohrer of Wilmot.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Beach City Bible Methodist Church with Pastor Craig Dahler officiating. Burial will be in the Welty Cemetery near Brewster. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton.
