age 62, of Springfield, Ill., passed away in her home on Monday, April 15, 2013. She was born July 19, 1950 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Maxine (Ott) and the late Orlyn Pressler. Koleen earned a bachelor's degree in political science and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado. She worked as a flight attendant for a few years and later in retail sales. Her passion for cooking led her to Napa, Calif., where she owned and operated Maxi's Cafe, named for her mother. Koleen also wrote a cookbook that included anecdotes of her family history.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ted. She is survived by her mother, Maxine Pressler; aunt, Pauline Bricker; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Atlee Hershberger officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday from 1-2pm before the service.
