Mary A. Samblanet
89, of Navarre, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at her home following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hocking Port on Aug. 15, 1924 to the late Lon and Rose (Blake) Snyder and married August 'Butch' Samblanet on July 27, 1973. He survives.
She loved quilting, needle work and camping with her husband and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Diane Perine of Carrollton, Charles Ford, Carl Ford and Debra (Blane) Neff, all of Navarre; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Larry, Gary and Jerry Lee Yost; two brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home, 209 Chestnut Street, NW, Brewster. Burial will follow in the East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.
