McKinley Jarvis
83 of Beloit, passed away at his home with his family at his side, on Thursday, March 7, 2013. McKinley was born in Lost Run, W.Va. on Aug. 30, 1929 the son of the late Ursher and Frenchie (Sims) Jarvis. He was employed for 28 years as a carpenter at Schopp Organ Company; he was a US Army Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Faith Family Church in North Canton.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Karen (Stockli) Jarvis of Beloit; a son, Aaron William Jarvis and his fiancé Pam Raymond; three grandchildren, Gabriel L. Jarvis, Shaynna R. Jarvis and Elizabeth L. Jarvis; four sisters, Bertha Double, Emily Miller, Evelyn Williams and Mary Ellen Garrison. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Eric Jarvis in 2001; and four brothers, Clell Jarvis, William Waitman Jarvis, David Jarvis, and Dimp Jarvis.
There will be a Family Graveside service held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in McKinley's honor to the Alliance VNA/Hospice, 885 S.
