Mercie D. Lehman
age 87, of Louisville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2013. She was born June 9, 1925 in Orville, Ohio to the late Orie and Goldie (Byler) Conrad. She was a member of the Beech Mennonite Church in Louisville. Mercie was a retired school teacher, having taught at both Plain Local and Wayne County Elementary Schools.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Warren D. Miller; her 2nd husband, Ervin Linder and her 3rd husband, Willis Lehman; two sisters, Eileen Gingerich and Marvel Schrock; one brother, Lester Conrad. Mercie is survived two daughters, Diane Preusser and Connie Fenstermaker, both of Canton; two sons, Darrell Miller of Louisville, Doug (Ann) Miller of North Canton; one sister, Twila (Chester) Lehman of Smithville; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Kaitlin Miller; numerous step children; step grandchildren; step great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank St. Joseph Care Center for the kind and compassionate care that was given to Mercie.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beech Mennonite Church in Louisville with Pastor Dan King officiating. Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville and one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the Beech Mennonite Church Cemetery.
